The Beckrich family immigrated from Schockville, Belgium in 1864 or 1863 and came to live on a farm in Shakopee, Scott County Minnesota. The original group to settle was Dominic Beckrich (born 1812 died 02/08/1901) wife Johanna (Scholtes) Beckrich (born 1823, Married to Dominic in 1841 and died 06/01/1872)thier children were Anton Beckrich (Born 04/19/1853 & died 05/13/1936), Nicolas Beckrich (Born Feb 2,1846 and died 08/14/1908)sister Mary A. Carl immigrated from Poland and came to the United States in 1909. He lived originally on a farm in Stutsman, North Dakota with his wife Cecelia (Lonsky) Glowartz and their son John j. Glowartz. In the 1930's they left North Dakota and moved to Minnesota. He died in 1943 and not sure when she died. Loking for anyone who knows this family or any information. Thanks Michael

Looking for information and photos of Oscar O. Green. Had a saw mill with his brother Charles O. Green in Valley City, later Algona, Washington State. Oscar O. sold out his share in 1910 and moved back to Minnesota in August of 1910. Anybody have info on Oscar's and Charles' mill, they also partnered with Ole Lindland? It was called Valley City Mill Company and then incorporated as ALGONA LUMBER & SHINGLE CO. in King County, Washington State. George W. Ames, a Minnesotan Civil War vet was killed while logging for this company in early March of 1909. Jesse C.

I am looking for relatives of Violet E. and Joseph Hamilton who had two daughters Dorothy and Berneice, also Orville and Gladys M. Hamilton who had two sons named Pal and Jr.(believed to be nicknames). They all lived in South St. Paul, MN. in the mid 40's. Believe that Violet's maiden name maybe Kurrelmeir, but not sure. Also looking for any information about another brother named Eli Hamilton. Their father was J. Gordon Hamilton and their mother was Sarah (Gresham/Gresheim) Hamilton. Johan Frederick Hansen b. 1846 in Denmark married to Anna(Ana)Nielsen b. August 8, 1850 in Denmark. Children of this marriage are: Frederick John Hansen b. 1883 in Naestved, Denmark d. 1973 Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Ansina Hansen b. Naestved, Denmark, Emma Christina Hansen b. 1881 Naestved, Denmark d. 1947 Jackson Co., Minnesota, Thora Hansen b. Naestved, Denmark d. at age of 18 in Minneapolis, MN, Ida Frederika Johanna Hansen b. 1885 in Naestved, Denmark d. 1949 Yankton Co., SD. The mother Anna (Nielsen) Hansen is lost as we do not know if she came to the USA and died or stayed in Denmark or died there before the family came. The family came to USA around 1885. Johan Fredrick Hansen applied for naturalization in Michigan, then went to Minneapolis, MN with children. Thora died there. The remaining children then went to Couer d alene, IA, Windom, MN, Yankton, SD and Kimball, SD. The father, Johan Frederick Hansen lived with his children in his later years and died in Kimball, SD. I would like to find some connection with the Denmark family and others from the family who came to USA. I would also like to make a connection with Ansina Hansen's family who live near Couer d alene, ID. She married Harry Erum and had children Arthur, Loretta(Robert Johnson) and Beulah(Dale English).
