I am searching for information about my great-grandfather Wilbur Fiske CLOUGH and his father Mace Richard CLOUGH.
Mace was born in New Hampshire prior to 1817, he married Caroline True HARMON in Portland, Maine June 2, 1835.
Wilbur was born in Georgia in 1836. The family later returned to Maine where Mace was a Methodist minister until he took his family to Lawernce, Kansas in 1855.

ANDREW married ELLEN GERTRUDE MCCARTHY in November 1897 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in JEWITT CITY, CT; BERTHA married MICHAEL MCCARTHY in April 1891 in St. Joseph's Church, LEWISTON, ME; marriages and further information about Timothy F. Cohoon and Joseph Cohoon unknown. Children of BERTHA and MICHAEL MCCARTHY were THOMAS (b. July 24, 1891 in LEWISTON, ME), BERTHA and MARGARET. Bertha and Michael predeceased their children at a young age leaving them to be raised by their paternal grandparents. The COHOON family was known to be in WAPPINGER FALLS, NY when BERTHA MCCARTHY died. MICHAEL is believed to have died in LEWISTON/AUBURN, ME before the family left. I am looking for info on my granfather and his parents. His name is Joseph Gilbert born in Westbrook Main in or about 1888-1889. He married my grandmother Catherine Reynolds Gilbert in 1912. His parents were Adelard and Malvina Letarte Gilbert from Canada. My grandparents had 2 boys, Joseph Francis (Born 1914) and Thomas Henry (Born 1915) My grandfather left my grandmother when my father was about 8. They never heard from him again. In or around 1960-1965, my father received a phone call from the Massachusetts State Police and they said his father was found dead. So he was buried in a paupers grave. I do not know where.
