    Am trying to track the families of Robert Lee FLETCHER and Liza Belle COCHRANE (no one know the correct spelling) not sure of the parish right now.
    Also the family of Elisha WHATLEY Jr. & Louisa FRAZIER--I know their histories but need help on their offspring.
    The line of HUNTS I am researching goes back to a James HUNT, b c1753, of SC and GA, who was a loyalist in the 1770s, and his descendents made their way to Rapides Parish area. I have basically this whole line, but cannot go back further. I'd also like to add details I don't have and share what I have found.

    Searching for information on my Grandfather, Ed Harrison Cresie, born 1873/1881. Cresie was his given name, but when he was a youngster, was adopted by Robert and Cordelia (nee Rose ) Davis.He then was known as Ed Harrison Davis. When Ed married my Grandmother, Bertha Mae Hogue, in 1907 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee he took the Cresie name back. Ed and Bertha left Tennessee quite suddenly in 1935 and moved with their children to Louisiana. Also would like to know why they moved so quickly. It's been a big secret in our family for years. Ed passed away in Denham Springs, Louisiana in 1950. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    looking for info on my grandfather george franklin gordon born march 2nd 1898 don't know where or who his parents were. he married clara baer about 1930 in phila, pa. they had a child in philly then moved to chester county pa. and had 3 more children. he was a marine during ww2. he worked mostly on farms, and was a "fireman" embreeville state, and drove a milk wagon at gladwyn hospitol. he and my grandmother divorced in the 50's. he moved down to louisiana in the late 50's and married a woman named mattie i think. he died in aug.1963 down there.if anyone has any info it would be g
