  • Bell
    cengold@aol.com
Searching for any info on my grandfather Samuel Bell who worked as a farm laborer on the Vestle Dimmit farm in / near Poweshiek County, Iowa. Time period was ca 1914 - 1918. It was said that he "came up from Missouri" to work. I do not know if that means he was originally from Missouri ... or had simply worked in Missouri before coming to Iowa. Best guess at his birth date is approx 1885 - 1895. Had brown eyes. Do not know where he went after he left the Dimmit farm, although he did come back to visit them occassionally in later years. TIA for any help.
    Best Regards,
