  Robert John (Jack) Cathcart was born in Ireland, left to join the circus in Canada and ended up in Missouri and Kansas and died in California. He owned a bakery in Kansas. He married and had one daughter, Irene who died at age 27 of lead poisoning. Irene was brought up by an aunt in Independence, Missouri. Would like to know if Irene married and had children.   When my grandmother was 14 yrs old, that means in about 1928, her father left Germany/Hamburg. They never found him ever since..but they always thought that he might have left for the States.
  
  A week ago, I was searching the net for him through "Ancestry.com", and I found him.
  I found him among the data of some kind of a Social Secuirity Office. That office offered to send us/me a copy of his Social Security card, which would give us " as they said" additional information re. his parents name ( I already asked a friend of mine to ask for this copy)
  
  But this is not enough, I need more... I would like to know if he had a wife or children..and most important of all, I want to contact them...to know more about his life...see photos or so.
  
  My grandmother is still alive, and wants to know as much as she can...even if it's just a photo of his grave.
