Rebecce, widow of Mattew Barbee with grown sons Jefferson, Calvin, James, Jeptha, and daughter Mary Elizebeth settled in Newton and Jasper County, Mo.   I am searching for Alfred or Albert P. Carey who was born in Missouri between 1858 and 1862. His father was born in Missouri and his mother in Ohio. He married Lucrisia who was born about 1866-68 in Missouri. Her parents were from Arkansas and Missouri. They married about 1882-85 and had their first child William Roy Carey about 1883 to 1886 and their second child, James in April 1887. The dates are a little different in each census.
