The Millers of Washington County Indiana After moving from Germany to Pennsylvania in 1732, the Millers moved to Virginia. Virginia didn't work out so around 1750 they moved to Rowan County North Carolina and set up a farm. In 1824, at the age of 60, Adam Miller moved the whole Miller clan to Beck's Mill Indiana, where some of them still live to this day.
